From 1 May to 30 June 2016, The Square Restaurant, which is a family-friendly buffet restaurant located on the 7th Floor of Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay, will be having their first themed dinner buffet of the year called Fusion Flavours.
Fusion Flavours features Asian and local dishes infused with Western’s touch, diners will be greeted with an array of specially curated dishes such as Nasi Lemak Risotto served with Strawberry Sambal, Chicken Rice Arancini and Pasta with Masak Lemak Sauce & White Clams.
There will also be the Laksa Bar: Original Laksa, Laksa Risotto, Laksa Pasta, Laksa Burger, Poached Mussels with Laksa & Malibu and more. Chili crab pasta, Dessert selection includes Gula Melaka & Jackfruit Crème Brulee, Risotto Truffle Cheese Cake, Chilli Padi Papaya Mousse Cake and the signature Wasabi Butter Cake.
Laksa Burger
This is our favorite of the night, the patty made of the fish and prawn with a tingly of laksa’s aroma added to give it a nice twist, coupled with the beautifully done bread, we have no issue to gobble down six burgers for four of us.
Nasi Lemak Risotto And Laksa Risotto
Fusion Flavour truly lived up to its name by transforming the traditional nasi lemak in the form of Risotto, the high starch short-grain rice when cooked release starch helped to achieve the stickiness with the creamy texture from the broth, doused with mix berry sambal chili and to enjoy a delicious bowl of Italian Malay Nasi Lemak Risotto.
Another interesting creation of risotto that infused with Laksa flavour is the Laksa risotto. If original laksa mee is too ordinary in your view, perhaps the laksa rice is something would give you a different perspective.

Crab with coconut black pepper butter, seafood jambalaya, jambalaya rice, chicken curry, aglio olio bee hoon, Kuih Pei Tee, stir fried vegetable. The jambalaya rice was infused with all the goodness of seafood and highly addictive, one of the nice dishes not to be missed.
Pastries And Cakes
Truffle Risotto Cheese cake, white chocolate pepper cake, Ginger Chocolate cake, Kaya Pudding were just some unique creations, if this is not make you too dazed with their innovation, go for the Wasabi cake or Olive cake for a different kind of experience.
Western Cuisines
Soto seafood chowder, curry infusion pumpkin soup, Korean braised beef brisket, Tom Yam beurre blanc, Laska Mac and Cheese, Rosemary infused slow cooked chicken breast with rendang butter sauce.
