From an Izakaya-style restaurant to sushi, ramen to yakiniku restaurant, it is catered to those seeking a more polished dining place.
Nigiro cafe is helmed by the famous Chef Kensuke Sakai, one of the youngest winners of Japan Masterchef. Nigiro cafe is a Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant in a contemporary and sleek set up.
Chef Jeremy’s Carbonara 19.50
A really good Carbonara can be satisfying enough to cause a foodgasm. This is what we concluded here with this dish. The Italian pasta dish was rich and creamy, we love the aromatic flavour and nice texture of the pasta.
Yuzi Salad 18.0
Yuzu is a tart, aromatic citrus fruit that tastes like a heady mixture of grapefruit and mandarin orange. The Yuzu sauce enlivened the overall salad with a refreshing sweet and sour taste, while the Bacon and spaghetti gave a good blend to the whole. A good salad that we highly recommend.
Prawn Tomato Risotto 19.50
The dish was not delivered at its best with overcooked prawns and average Risotto.
Pan-Fried Norway Salmon (Dinner) 20.0
The pan fried salmon was flaky, succulent and tasted fresh. Crisp skin and the sauce added a savoury touch. A masterfully prepared dish that is worth a try.
Deep Fried Potato (Dinner) 6.0
Ordinary fried potato that was nothing to shout about.
We have tried both the lunch and dinner menu at Nigiro Cafe. In our opinon, the set lunch menu is more impressive with its tantalizing taste, quality and reasonable price tag. For the dinner, the salad, carbonana and the pan fried salmon are some of dishes delivered very well by the chefs.
