Head to Level 3 of Jurong Point 2, featuring painted street shophouse and hawker push carts, gathered the best of authentic local foods from Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh.
All the stalls in Malaysia Boleh are participated in this event. Malaysia Boleh at Jurong Point features the best of Malaysia hawkers and house under one roof.
Penang: Lor Bak (Ngoh Hiang) from Kedai Kopi Seng Thor Lebih, prawn mee from well-known Jalan Cheong Fatt Tze.
Kuala Lumpur: Fried Hokkien mee and wanton mee.
Ipoh: Poached chicken with plump Ipoh bean sprouts.
Klang Bak Kut Teh
Klang bak kut teh is different to Singapore’s bak kut teh in terms of flavours. Klang Bak Kut Teh emphasis on herbal flavour to the peppery broth commonly found in Singapore.
Penang Prawn Mee
The spiciness and crimson broth are the unique feature of this Penang popular dish. The flavourful broth was the result from hours of brewing and simply alluring.
Klang Claypot rice
Besides the Klang Bak Kut Teh, Claypot chicken rice is another popular local staple in Klang, the tender and well marinated chicken, lup cheong (Chinese sausages), Muchroom, vegetable that cooked in the claypot with rice doused with the dark soy sauce. An American classic done with a local twist. This is the Swensen’s take on an upscale turkey Ramly Burger. Plump turkey patty marinated and cooked to perfection topped with a special burger bun accented by fresh letture, sliced tomato, turkey patty, fried egg and grilled pineapple that is dunked in authentic Gula Melaka. Served with chips and coleslaw for the best way to savour turkey.
