The chilli prawn mee was a mixture of yellow noodles and white bee hoon, topped with pork ribs, fish cake, tau pok and prawn. There is a catch the stall named their rightfully prawn noodles as Chilli mee, as the description of the name “Chili Mee” trying to proclaim, the Chili is the main spotlight in the bowl and also their specialty of the stall. The portion served was generous; the special chili paste was not overwhelming and blends well with the noodles to create a nice characteristic flavour that accentuates the scrumptious taste of the noodles. The only drawback with the noodle was the overcooked soggy texture, the noodles lacked of the firm characteristic to the bite and undifferentiated from other ordinary prawn noodles.

The soup was also impressive with the pleasant and distinct herb aroma. A good complement to the bowl of noodles. Overall, the Chilli mee was reasonably well presented, the perpetual queue waiting patiently in front of the stall provides a clear mandate to the support of this superlative noodles. However, a lift in the noodles texture quality will certainly to give the stall a further boost.
