The Bark Café Hor Fun
When come to Hor Fun, we are still much in love with the traditional thick noodles type fried to the right texture with the nice aroma of the wok smell, the rich egg gravy and the fresh seafood added will further enhance the goodness of the hor fun and make it a truly delicious dish for all.
The Bark Café
Most of the cafés around the isle are more emphasis on the environment by creating a cosy and relaxing surrounding to attract the customers and food somehow becomes the backstage of the show. However, not the case for The Bark Café, located just right besides the Changi Chapel & Museum, the café provides a wide spectrum of foods consist of local and Western fusion with an idyllic secluded surroundings.
Most importantly, you will impress the quality of the food here besides the great ambience. Some of the “Must Try” orders include the Seafood Hor Fun, chicken wings, potato wedges and mee goreng. The Hor Fun comes with the a crayfish, squid, prawn and vegetable, all the seafood are fresh but what impressed us was the Hor Fun, the noodles were very well done with a much needed wok smell immersed in the thick egg sauce essence gravity, a nice creation can satisfy the picky taste buds. The price is a little pricy but if you considered the nice ambience, the expensive ingredients used and the quality of the food, we think it worth the price.
Do try their famous chicken wings as well, well marinated which is crispy exterior and juicy internally with a nice scent of fermented shrimp, even famous chef – Eric Neo commented this is one of the best chicken wings he have even tried ! We will feature other star dishes e.g. chicken wings, mee goreng under the respective category. All in all, the Bark Café is really a great al fresco place to chill-out with great food and ambience.
