They have an amazing theme in the restaurant – a little off white and gold, it reminds me of a classy home filled with wines and luxurious lifestyles. They really do have an amazing pop of ideas for the decorations.

You can also see and feel the quality of materials they used to design the place. 28Wilkie Italian Restaurant & Caviar Bar have function rooms to accommodate your events and conferences. A great place with an amazing selection of food, I think it’s a steal!

My favorite part of the restaurant is the amazing counter by the bar. That marble texture and comfortable high seats by the bar just gives a relaxing vibe to whoever wants a new experience in a fine dining place. It’s like 28Wilkie Italian Restaurant & Caviar Bar bent the rules on fine dining and drinking, except that they just implemented a better rule of mixing the two.

Their selection of caviar is in collaboration with its brand name, Caviar Colony, and prepared in different versions to suit the taste of the caviar-lover. Their caviar comes in Amur Caviar, Kaluga Hybrid Caviar, Russian Hybrid Caviar, the regular Russian and Kaluga Caviar.

The difference of the regular caviar and the hybrid caviar is the hybrid caviars are the crosses of the best sturgeons chosen to prepare it. The Amur Caviar is a harvest from sturgeon fish which are older than the usual selection.

The flavor of the caviar isn’t so thick on the fishiness, but you can still taste it there – and, it’s not entirely salty and overwhelming.

The Hokkaido Scallops (S$28.00) was amazingly prepared with just the right amount of seasoning, because you could still taste its freshness and the wonderful mix of the red caviar on the scallops. It comes with an amazing portion of freshly served peas and pea sprouts.

Knowing how much of a meat lover I am, I just had to try their wagyu, and they had two dishes that was perfect! Their Saga A4 Wagyu (S$68.00) and their Westholme Wagyu Tenderloin (S$58.00). I just love how subtle the seasoning was, how right the softness of the meat was, and I just couldn’t resist taking another generous bite after.

You can find that they are very subtle with their dessert on the menu. It seems they have really made sure that their guests are not too overwhelmed with flavors, and that they walked out of the restaurant with a proud look on their faces.

28Wilkie Italian Restaurant & Caviar Bar has chocolate mousse and mango tarts that will blow your mind away. They obviously didn’t rely on the sweetness of sugar, and they really didn’t hold back on filling the dessert with the right ingredients than just getting the sweetness from sugar.

28Wilkie Italian Restaurant & Caviar Bar is, by far, a nice experience. When you need a new taste and experience when it comes to fine dining, this is the restaurant for you. They are a breath of fresh air when it comes to caviar.

I find this a great place for special occasions, like a date or meeting a friend after a long time. It’s a pleasant place to be when you will be doing a lot of talking.
